GetResponse isn’t going to be the right tool for everyone. Nothing is right for everyone.

It’s the best fit for bloggers who have a limited budget. Or if you’re just getting started with your blog or business, then GetReponse could be a good choice.

It’s easy to use and isn’t going to drain your time or financial resources.

Is GetResponse Really Worth It?

GetResponse holds its own against the competition and is undoubtedly one of the better tools on the market today.

If the webinar and CRM features were more robust, it would be challenging some of the bigger players in the space.

Its price makes it a great choice for those just starting out, or those with a limited budget.

Yes, GetResponse as an email marketing solution is definitely worth your investment.

Common Features that Comes with All GetResponse Plan

Common Features that Comes with All GetResponse Plan

GetResponse offers so many useful functions that you’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to features. Of course, some features are only available with specific plans.

The following are the main features to expect from this autoresponder program regardless of the package that you choose to settle for:

  1. RSS to Email

The RSS to email feature automatically sends messages to your blog audience every time you post a new article. Not only does this feature increase readership but it can also boost engagement and conversions when used properly.

  1. Landing Page Creator

GetResponse goes beyond providing autoresponder services. It also offers the landing page creator as an extra tool should you require such a feature. However, this comes at an additional cost.

GetResponse is flexible with its landing page creator in that you can choose to host your page for free on a GetResponse subdomain or on a different server of your own choosing. The landing page creator is very intuitive as well. It lets users edit page elements with easy-to-use drag-and-drop tools.

  1. Autoresponder 2.0

GetResponse provides the 2.0 autoresponder, which automatically sends out messages based on certain factors. For example, you can set up the autoresponder to send out newsletters on a specific date or broadcast special promotional messages to subscribers on their birthdays.

GetResponse even throws in some detailed guides on how to use their 2.0 autoresponder, which will help you increase subscriber engagement.

  1. Email Editor

As with most email-marketing systems, GetResponse features an email creation tool. The email creator/editor lets you compose messages from scratch or choose from hundreds of pre-designed templates.

Other handy features that come with the GetResponse Email Creator include the ability to edit HTML code or preview the message before sending, as well as the spam checker tool. Once you’re done creating your email message, you can broadcast the message immediately to selected contacts.

Alternatively, you can use the time travel feature to send messages at a later time. This tool segments contacts by time zone then delivers messages when recipients are likely to check their mail.

  1. A/B Split Testing

You can use GetResponse to run a series of tests that will help you send the most effective messages to contacts. This can be achieved through A/B split tests that let you try out different newsletters, subject line variants, email content, time of sending, and many other factors.

The customer support service from GetResponse is generally good. Although there are a handful of negative reviews on the web, the vast majority of customers rate the company’s support services highly.

Also there are lot of people like you who will like to contact their customer services and you know verily that they cannot answer everybody at once.

In fact, GetResponse won the 2013 Bronze Stevie Award in categories such as customer service team of the year, customer service department of the year, best use of technology in customer support and innovation in customer service.

The company’s support resources are as follows:

What GetResponse lacks in forum support it more than makes up for with its weekly Live Webinars.

Live Webinars educate users on different aspects of using the GetResponse autoresponder and email marketing in general.

GetResponse Webinar Review: Run Live Or Pre-Recorded Webinars

When you set up your webinar, you’ll get a unique URL, along with options to control start time and registrations.

After that, GetResponse can help you record your webinar content from either your computer or your phone (you can either record live or in advance). Then, your attendees can tune in from anywhere in the world.

The best thing about this feature is how it’s integrated into the rest of the GetResponse platform.

For example, you can send out emails to your list about your webinar, drive that traffic to a landing page, and then send out email reminders before your webinar goes live.

And after it finishes, you can manually or automatically send out a follow-up series, as well.

You can easily setup up to 5 webinar funnels with the plus plan and which then goes up to unlimited webinar funnels in the professional and enterprise plans.

GetResponse Webinar Features:

GetRespose Customers Review

1. Decent Email service provider, good bang for your buck.

The emailing product is decent. However, the landing pages tool could seriously use an update, especially the very 2000s interface that is quite jarring.

Worth noting is the great support that I’ve always received in a timely manner whenever I had a question or issue that needed to be solved.

Automation features are quite good, and intuitive to use. I’d say they are a close second behind ActiveCampaign in terms of the quality of their automation. User interface is miles better here though.

Finally, we could use an improvement like an email archive for new subscribers to be able to consult freely.

  1. I use GetResponse for email marketing…

I use GetResponse for email marketing e-commerce for a few years now. It’s easy to connect and sync with a Shopify store. What I like is the pre- made templates available and I can create my own. Of course the open rate depends on your messages. You have tracking and reports for newsletters. If you need help the support is great. The price is better than other similar tools.

  1. Great Product

Excellent piece of work!!!

  1. Good All in One Tool but Not Great for Broadcasts

I’ve been using Get Response since 2013 and I find them great for Automations and Auto-Responder Series. Not so great for general Broadcast Mails which don’t get anyway near the Open Rates of Emails sent by their Auto-Responder System.

But overall I would recommend them as a good All-in-One Tool for running your Email Marketing Campaigns, especially for long AR Series.

By now I know your doubt might have cleared and if not you should consider watching this review.
